James and Mari Sabusawa Michener
The Mari Sabusawa Michener Society was established to recognize and honor those individuals who have provided for the Museum's future through a bequest or other planned gift. Traditionally, many donors have made outright gifts to the Museum. Although these immediate gifts of cash and appreciated assets are vitally important, there is also a growing need for other types of gifts. By including the James A. Michener Art Museum in your estate plans, you ensure that the Museum will maintain its commitment to remain as a home for Bucks County's rich artistic soul.

You Can Share in Our Dream by:

  • Designating a bequest to the James A. Michener Art Museum in your will or revocable living trust

  • Participating in a life income arrangement for the benefit of the Museum including a Charitable Gift Annuity or a Charitable Remainder Trust

  • Establishing a Charitable Lead Trust for the benefit of the Museum

  • Naming the Museum as the beneficiary of a 401K or other retirement plan or life insurance policy

Prudent oversight of charitable gifts is the fiduciary responsibility of the Museum's Board of Trustees who has chosen a local leading financial institution to manage investments and to administer the terms of the charitable gifts.
